Independent printmaking project (tutored) - 3hr class 26th June
Independent project: work on your own personal printmaking project using any combination of the following techniques: trace monoprinting, monoprinting with stencils/foliage, painterly monotypes, relief printing on fabric, linocut, drypoint etching, collagraph, book construction.
Please note: there are no screenprinting / litho facilities in the studio. Please discuss your requirements with May in advance (prior to booking) to ensure suitable materials are available. May will be on hand to offer assistance if you have technical queries relating to the processes covered in her taught classes.
WHERE: Paddock Art Studio, Paddock Lane, Lewes, BN7 1TW
WHEN: Thursday 26th June 2-5pm
Basic materials and printmaking equipment will be provided (including brayers, inks, paper, water bath etc.) however it is advisable to check prior to booking if you require any specialist tools or plates. You are welcome to bring your own consumables if you prefer (e.g. paper / inks). Please contact May prior to booking as there is concessionary rate available if you bring your own consumables.
I recommend that you bring an apron or old shirt to protect your clothes. Tea/coffee/biscuits will be provided.
The studio is located at the top of the stairs on the right - there is a stair lift available if required. If you have any accessibility requests please let me know in advance. The studio is well ventilated before and after every session and there will be disposable gloves and hand sanitisier. There are 5 car parking spaces outside the studio that are free and for everyone’s use, on a first come first served basis. Please note however that the access road is narrow and one way, so if you have a large vehicle you may find it easier to find alternative parking. There is on street parking nearby, or Westgate car park. The train station is 15 minutes walk away, and the nearest bus stop is 5 minutes away on Lewes high street.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you are unable to attend an individual class due to illness or any unforeseen circumstances then please let me know via email as soon as possible. If viable, I will offer you an alternative date for the same or a similar class later in the year. In the unlikely event that I have to cancel, you will receive a full refund.
