Printmaking courses and workshops
I’m a professional artist and qualified teacher with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art and a Masters-level PGCE in Post-Compulsory Art & Design. With 18 years of experience in Further and Higher Education, I now run independent workshops throughout Sussex, including at the Paddock Art studio - Lewes, West Dean College and Hove Museum.
My classes cater to beginners and those looking to develop their printmaking skills, with small group sizes to ensure personalised attention in a relaxed, supportive environment. I provide visual resources, materials, and expert guidance on experimental techniques. As a professional artist and printmaker, I recognise the importance of good quality sustainable materials that produce successful results and are kind to our planet and us. All tools and supplies, including non-toxic AKUA soy-based inks and biodegradable sundries, are included.

3hr untutored printmaking sessions in Lewes
Places are limited to 6. These sessions are for those with some printmaking experience who would like to work on an independent project.

PLEASE NOTE: All those attending regular weekly classes during term time are required to pay an ANNUAL PADDOCK ART STUDIO MEMBERSHIP FEE: Tutors, students, and all those accessing the studio are required to become LADVAA (Lewes and District Visual Arts Association) members for insurance purposes and to help keep the not-for-profit Paddock studio running – which is £10 for remainder of the year (membership will need to be renewed in September 2025). The form is available online and you will be asked to either pay by bank transfer into the studio account, or you can give cash to your tutor: membership form. This does not apply to one day or weekend courses as your temporary membership fee is included in the listed price.
